Mark Study

During the Summer of 1992, in the midst of my junior year of college at the University of Pennsylvania, I saw Jesus like never before! Even though I had grown up in a mega-church whose Senior Pastor was known for exceptional expository preaching (for which I am very grateful) I had never personally gone so deep into the text as I did that summer. It was like I was getting to know Jesus for the first time!

Even though I had spent the year after High School at a Christian College getting my Certificate in Bible (for which I am also very grateful) I had never studied the text so closely and felt like I was falling in love with the Bible all over again! 

And even though I have my Master's Degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, there's no doubt in my mind that the Mark Study and the accompanying Manuscript Method have done more to teach me about Jesus and Ministry than anything else in my life. 

I thank my InterVarsity Christian Fellowship staff members, Dave and Shannon Lamb, for the incredible gift of showing me Jesus like never before and teaching me how to read the Bible like a Love Letter! THANK YOU Dave and Shannon!
